Up n’ Down Pumpkin Mash rock and bourbon is the highlight of our new Harvest Old Fashioned cocktail, available at all New England locations during the month of October. This cozy fall update of our classic Old Fashioned recipe is perfect for keeping warm on a crisp autumn day.
Up n’ Down was founded by Justin Morales, a Connecticut native who distills his spirits locally in East Hartford. Justin’s premium “rock and bourbons” are a twist on old-school rock and rye, distilled with crystallized rock candy and infused with flavorful natural ingredients. Pumpkin Mash gets its fall profile from fresh pumpkin, baking spices, maple syrup, and more. The spirit can be enjoyed straight out of the bottle as a ready-to-drink cocktail, or used in mixed drinks a la our Harvest Old Fashioned.
We’re not just fans of Up n’ Down’s products, but also its founder. Mr. Morales was a bartender at our South Windsor, CT location for several years, and helped open other Burtons Grill locations during his time with us. We’re so excited to bring the journey full circle by featuring Justin’s product at our New England locations during the month of October.
